Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what data Solunce collects, how it's used, and how it's protected.
1. What we collect
When you create an account, we collect:
- Email address — used to identify your account
- Password — stored as a salted hash (we never store plaintext passwords)
- Token usage data — request counts and token consumption, tied to your account
- Chat history — messages you send are stored server-side so they sync across devices
- API keys — stored as hashed values; only prefixes are shown in the dashboard
We do not collect payment card information directly. Payments are processed by Stripe, which has its own privacy policy. We do not collect IP addresses or browser fingerprints.
2. How we use your data
- To authenticate your account and maintain sessions
- To track token usage and enforce account limits
- To sync your chat history across devices
- To respond to support requests if you contact us
We do not sell, share, or rent your personal data to third parties.
3. Chat data
Messages you send are stored in our database to enable cross-device sync. We do not use your conversation content to train models or for any purpose beyond providing the sync feature. You can delete individual chats or your entire account at any time.
4. Data storage
Data is stored on Cloudflare's infrastructure (D1 database) in the United States. Cloudflare's data handling practices are governed by their own privacy policy.
5. Data retention
Your data is retained as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, all associated data (chats, API keys, usage logs) is permanently deleted.
6. Cookies & local storage
Solunce uses browser localStorage to cache your session token and chat history locally. No third-party cookies are used. No tracking scripts are loaded.
7. Your rights
- Export or review your data by contacting us
- Delete individual chats from the chat interface
- Delete your account from the Settings page — this removes all your data permanently
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes. Continued use of Solunce after changes constitutes acceptance.
